One of the mothers I am counseling in the NICU is 4 weeks post-partum and
experiencing dizziness at the beginning of double pumping for her now 33
week old preemie. She says it disappears in a minute or two. She does not
have this feeling when the baby actually latches on and breastfeeds. I have
heard of mothers c/o nausea or headaches but not this reaction.

After searching the archives, I found one post describing this reaction to
electric pumping. Has anyone else heard of this before? Is it a result of
oxytocin release?
