As a hospital LC, I have been asked to see if others are being reimbursed for
consults in hospital and as outpatients.  We need to bring in money to expand
our services.  We do not rent and sell bf aids and I am actually glad we are
not into that.  When I recommend a pump, the mom knows it is not for gain for
my department.  We wonder if others are receiving insurance and Medicaid
payments for lactation services.  Any tips on how to pursue this would be
appreciated.
