I am not sure the research on this but have been observing this for many.
many years (over 15). I have had moms eat oranges and other foods to get
swelling down. If I see the legs and feet area that are swelled up I know that milk
supply may have issues. Most of this becomes resolved the first week after
birth. I always wonder why the hospitals need to push so much IV fluids?
