I have had several moms with breast pain that resolved with one or two
sessions of good massage therapy. There are back muscles that are connected
to the breasts and with birth, or when feeding a baby looking down a lot,
those muscles can be strained.

The symptoms, in these cases, looked rather like yeast, but I recommended
the massage first. Even if it hadn't resolved it, the moms felt so nurtured.
The massage therapist needs to be reminded to put a towel or small pillow
below the breasts so that there won't be pressure on them when they are on
their stomachs.

I got this idea from a JHL article: Hopkinson J: Interfeeding breast pain:
a case report. JHL 8: 149-51. 1992.
