On this discussion of breastfeeding and PPD. The beautician I saw today told
me that 14 years ago when her daughter was born she was told that
breastfeeding her baby was causing her PPD. She claimed that when she weaned
she felt so much better. However, her weaning was also timed with her
starting up a new business and getting involved more in other activities.
Don't think it ever occured to her that THAT may have had something to do
with it. But she believes it was the bf because her doc told her so.
