Greetings. I have been working with a mother in Greece who has been having
a very difficult time breastfeeding her own baby. She is working on things,
but is frustrated, and having an extremely hard go of it. ..though there is
some improvement. She happens to be a medical doctor, a GI specialist, and
so feels doubly betrayed and embarassed by the lack of information and
outdated information that she was given in Greece.  I have offered to ask
for current texts, books, etc, to be sent to her as gifts, so that she may
share with her colleagues. She has now vowed to learn more about
breastfeeding so that she can help others where she is. I am sending her an
older version of Ruth Lawrence.

Please, if anyone wishes to send her anything that would be of help, please
write to me for her name and address. I would be most grateful, and this is
a wonderful way we can help others in Greece, where the information is
largely MISinformation about breastfeeding.
