Joyce,
The PDR blurb is standard, look at just about any drug and it says the
same thing about "the potential for serious adverse reaction....decision
should be made....etc."  I think it was wise to substitute ibuprofen,
which has a good track record, and is a potent antiinflammatory drug.
Sometimes docs and dentists get stuck on their favorite meds and don't
think of alternatives unless encouraged to.
        As for general anesthesia, once the mom is awake her levels are
very low and she could breastfeed.
