Okay,
I'll admit it too. I also have angry feelings towards ABM feeding moms. I
just can't understand WHY anyone would WANT to put that stuff in their kids.
I'll give my babies goats milk before ABM from now on if I CAN'T BF them.
As far as the babies go, I feel so sorry for them. All that they go through.
Illness, diarreah, allergies, bleeding... poor babies. With no way to tell
their moms that they want the real thing, who couldn't help but to feel sorry
for them? Last weekend I was caring for a 10 wk old baby, who had the
misfortune of being fed only ABM. I couldn't help but want to just nurse him
myself and give him what he was meant to have in the first place. Human
milk! He's ABM fed, you see, because mommy just had to get back to work. BF
is too much of a hassle, and too time consuming. You have to hold the baby
and only mom can feed him. <sarcastic tone here> Well, gee, isn't that just
too bad? If you didn't want to love, hold and nurture your baby, WHY DID YOU
HAVE ONE? This baby's dad, BTW, wanted his son to be BF, and he's the one
who takes care of the little guy. He's a great dad. I wish I could say the
same for his mom.

Well, that's my .02 worth. Hope I don't offend anyone with my feelings, but
I believe that babies have the right to get the best in life, and, sadly, too
many of them don't.
