Thanks, Sara, for sharing that really interesting abstract about pre-natal
prolactin and estradiol levels as predictors of the duration of LAM.  The
abstract contained a provocative statement, to whit:  "the subsequent
duration of their lactational amenorrhoea, suggesting that duration of
lactational amenorrhoea is conditioned during pregnancy."

  I would like to know from people on this list who are more educated in
such matters than I am, whether or not such "conditioning" can be
manipulated (by level of stress, diet, nipple stimulation during sexual
activity, sleep, etc)? Or are individual hormone levels regulated by so many
intrinsic variables as to be beyond a plan for systematic manipulation?
