How fascinating to hear about the wonderful inspiration many of us have
had to get us on the right track.

I really give credit to my first daughter for my breastfeeding. As a
nurse working in pediatrics I "knew" that colostrum and breast milk were
important for newborns. I remember now what awful advice I was taught
in nursing school to give about breastfeeding, but at least I learned
that much. I decided I would nurse for 6 weeks to give Amy that good
start, and she taught me all about breastfeeding and kept us going for
two years.
