Another LC (without access to Lactnet, & very jealous) asked me to inquire
about anyone's experience with fava beans in a nursing mom's diet causing
hemolytic anemia.  I believe I had seen something about this before--on
Lactnet???  The baby had been re-admitted within the first week post delivery
& had a hemoglobin of 5.  Looked in a few of my books, and will check
Lawrence when I go into office tomorrow.  If anybody has any info or
interesting experience with this, please respond or email me privately.
