Negative on the PCOS, Normal thyroid function, vaginal delivery, no extra or heavy bleeding, She did state that she had problems conceiving but 'all tests' were borderline and coulnd't find an exact reason. I did give her my copy of Making More Milk to read over the last weekend. She did have her prolcatin levels drawn which was 36. Upon talking today: This is what we came up with - she and the baby would be released today from the hospital today and after reading all weekend she feels that is she was able to breastfeed more frequently then every 3 hours and for longer time periods, use a supplemental nursing system, drink Mother Milk tea and spend skin to skin time with baby that she would be able to increase it on her own. She will call back in about 5-7 days if she wants to get a script for Domerpidone.
I think that this might have been a case of certain policies interfering with normal breastfeeding
But thanks for your responce and thank you very much Tammy.
