Merylin:  Although there are no data about this quinolone antibiotic (I
think it's called Trovan, generic trovofloxacin), I would wonder whether
her E.Coli infection is resistant to all other antibiotics which could be
used.  Did this mother ask the doctor what other antibiotics the bug is
sensitive to?  It's just possible that unless this doctor is very bf
supportive, he/she didn't really think about the bf issue, just wanted to
