Hello,
The following is a response to the post which appeared on both
Lactivist and Lactnet. I had the pleasure of meeting Audie Fridstein at
ILCA 96. Omron distributes Mag Mag breast pumps here in the states.
Regarding: Lactivist Notice
The exposure received in the Japan press on the Baby Olympics, called
"Neo Baby Pigeonpic" in the Tokyo Newspaper on July 23 was a release
that had been sent out without approval or authority of the directors
of Pigeon Corporation. Once they learned of its release they took steps
to notify the media, on July 30, of the error.
These events happened prior to our notification to Pigeon headquarters
marketing people, who handle sales on an international basis.
Additionally, the bottle feeding contest was never accepted at any
time.
I would appreciate your forwarding this information via the same manner
in which it was received and any other means you feel would prove to be
beneficial. Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Audie Fridstein, Sales Manager
Juvenile Markets
Omron Healthcare
