Hi All,
You know, this may be one of those times that the ABM company gets sued for
killing or at least seriously damaging a previously healthy baby.  Let's hope
so!
People need to realize that ABM can kill, not only because of poor people who
can't read the directions, have poor sanitary conditions, or no money so
dilute, but also educated people who think that ABM is "Just as good as"
breastmilk.  We all know it's not, and I'm sure the ABM folks know it's not.
 But hey, they want their money, and breastfeeding takes away their profit
margin.  So let's push ABM on unsuspecting moms, dads and innocent babies
(who, BTW don't have a choice in what they are fed), and not tell them the
realities of ABM vs Breastmilk.
Look folks, if God/Nature had wanted us to feed ABM to our kids, breasts
would have been left out, or made non-functional, only to be used for sexual
pleasure or to hold up a towel when you get out of the shower.  But they were
designed to feed our babies.  Why can't you ABM people figure that out?  Why
do the ABM companies have to lie and say that ABM is so great?  I can see
only ONE reason for a baby to have ABM, and that is when it is MEDICALLY
neccessary and NO human milk is available.  Of course if this were the case,
then the ABM companies would end up going out of business.
To our ABM folks out there, what makes you think that ABM is just as good, or
even almost as good as breastmilk?  Why do your companies continue to violate
the WHO Code on a daily basis?  (My 10 yr old son makes gagging noises every
day when he sees those ABM commercials and when he sees all the dolls with
bottles full of "ABM")  What happened to being ethical and moral?  What
happened to giving babies the best (which is NOT ABM)?  Why do these
companies spout BF friendliness while giving POOR BF info in their little
handbooks.  You say you want moms to BF, but the messages sent out, ever so
subtly, are designed to encourage moms to feel insecure about the choice they
have made so that they will end up ABM feeding their babies.
WHY WHY WHY!!!  I just don't get it.  Why would these companies set out
deliberately to do these things?
If you ABM people could see the poor sick babies we BF folks have seen, the
DRs have seen, the babies who are dying on ABM because they are allergic to
every ABM there is, and their mothers can't get their milk supply up because
they chose ABM feeding first, because the ABM company said it was just fine
and safe and good and gentle like breastmilk and just as good (or almost as
good) and now have to try and relactate, while taking care of a sick baby,
just to try and save their babys life or at the very least get some
breastmilk into the baby to improve their health, maybe if you saw "what's
really going on" with this ABM you might have a change of heart.  Maybe.
Sorry everyone.  I have to get off this box, don't I?  I feel very strongly
about this, can you tell?  It is my wish that EVERYONE who is involved in
hurting, maiming or killing a child anywhere in the world be prosecuted.
 This would include molesters, abusers, murderers and ANYONE else who
knowingly harms a child.  Anyone else come to mind? <hint hint>
