The mother risk clinic at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto does
*not* consider lithium contraindicated during breastfeeding.  Of course,
they suggest observing the baby and following baby's blood levels.

There is more to this question than will the baby get some lithium.  I
have expounded endlessly on this in the past.
