I 've been helping a mom who had a hard time getting breastfeeding going
because her infant had a terrible suck.. She used a pump to maintain a
supply. We were able to finally get the infant totally breastfeeding but now
she has an overproduction on one side. I suggested she pump just a little for
comfort but she quickly becomes engorged unless she pumps 2-3 ounces every
three hours. Today I suggested cabbage leaves. Anyone out there have a
suggestions for management? Anyone use herb teas? The baby has a difficult
time on that breast because of the intense let down.

Congratulations to all the nurses out there
