All milk banks in North America follow the Human Milk Bank Association of
North America (HMBANA) guidelines.  Milk is donated, there is no payment
made to the donor.  The only charge made to the recipient is a processing
fee. If anyone  hears of someone offering money for breast milk it is not
a legatimate milk bank.
