I received a note today from a pregnant mom who began her note this way...

"My lactation consultant recommended your LACTNET list as a great source of
current info,.."

Please do not refer mothers to LACTNET for current info, etc.  You may refer
them to Parent-L, or to La Leche League, both of which are wonderful places
for new mothers.  However, LACTNET is for professional connection, and we do
not focus on or answer the needs of personal lactation questions here on
Lactnet.
