May I respectfully offer that this is NOT lactose intolerance but lactose
overload. In many reference materials, this is addressed and is related to the
concept of too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk. There might be some
information in the archives about this but I would not venture this as a "diagnosis"
rather I would change some  breastfeeding management techniques so baby gets
more hindmilk.
