I missed the beginning of this thread too. However, I was asked to post by a
very dedicated coworker with primary glandular insufficiency due to hormonal
therapy during puberty. The insufficiency wasn't caught until the baby was 4
weeks old and very scary. Her daughter is 4 mos old and bf w/a supplementer.
(mom produces 1/4 to 1/2 of babes needs) The baby cant tolerate formula and
pukes it up constantly. She has been unable to get banked milk due to an
uncooperative insurance agency. Regular galactagogues have not worked.

Currently many of our lactating coworkers are getting the required blood test
and donating milk privately. Someone mentioned a home pastureizer. Where
would you get one? Patricia mentioned Goats Rue. What's the dosage? duration
of usage? Anyone out there have any other suggestions? I know it may be too
late to do anything this time around, but she would like a better chance of
nursing any future children.

Sorry this is so long and TIA
