Years ago one of the formula companies gave hospitals free vanilla scented
pacifiers to use, the moms would lose them and babies wouldn't take any
other type so they came to the hospital all the time for replacements, I
even remember a few breastfeeding moms who I told to washing vanilla soap or
put a little vanilla flavoring on as a perfume because their babies didn't
want to nurse after using the pacifier.
