Question: Mercurochrom (Merbromin) topical form. A mother went for a breast biobsy and they put this on her skin. Her skin is dyed Red now. Exposure to mercury from skin is limited for the mother but from mucous membranes and GI it can reach some toxic levels. Should she breastfeed or pump and dump and for how long?
