I heard today from my breastfeeding coodinator that human breast milk can be
used as medicine in the eye to clear up "pink eye". She also said that
breast milk can be placed in the infants nose via eye dropper to ease a
congested nose. Have these remedies been studied? Or are they commonly used
and I've missed out on this information? I would appreciate any kind of
feedback from my breastfeeding gurus out on Lactnet.
Sincerely,
Karen Christopher, LS
