Thanks for your comments re your saline compresses.  An LC friend of mine
uses EBM compresses on those rare occasions when  more is required.  I, too,
have used them, but had trouble keeping them wet.  The mother I was working
with ended up putting Gladwrap (cling wrap plastic) over the EBM soaked
gauze, with great success. I had reservations about this, but she only
needed it for 24 hours and they were healed.
How do you keep yours wet?
