According to Marjorie Meyer Palmer who designed the Neonatal Oral Motor
Assessment Scale (NOMAS), there is a positive correlation between babies who
scored dysfunctional on the NOMAS and motor development delays later in life.

To my knowledge, there is nothing that looks at poor breastfeeding behaviors
and poor feeding behavior later in life.
