I would agree with the opinion that BF and lithium are totally incompatible.
I am surprised it was continued in pregnancy as I have seen a variety of
cardiac and neuro abnormalities in babies where mum was on lithium. Many
texts will show pregnancy as a contraindication. PErhaps her medication
might be altered - or perhaps she will be another of those for whom BF must
be avoided.....
