Thanks a thousand times over for all who have offered your support
in this trying time for me.
You may write me at the address this e-mail comes from.
([log in to unmask])It is not my work e-mail, but as I was still
struggling
with my decision and hadn't shared the situation with my husband
yet, I
didn't want any e-mail he might open before I talked with him. That
was a
part of my struggle. Ever since he was "forced" into early
retirement he
never missed an opportunity to gush over how great it is that I's
still
working or we'd really have to tighten our belts! This made it
especially hard
for me to broach the subject of retiring soon. Now that we have had
that
talk, and he understands where I'm coming from, you can contact me
at this
address.
Tomorrow I will be gathering information on what is the earliest
date that I can retire and be on Medicare (for those outside the US,
that's health insurance for retired folks-part of what we pay over
the years for reitrement). I am not saying anything at work yet, so
any who may talk to anyone who knows anyone where I work, please
take note. Once retired I am considering developing some
presentations and "taking the show on the road". Private practice
may be an option, but I would need to be sure it wouldn't cost me
more than I would make, which I understand is a real challenge. I
may even see if any local LLL groups need another Leader since I am
still officially "Leader Reserve".

Thanks again for all the support. This group is awesome!

Winnie
