<the pediatricians that I share patients with are leery due to the fact that it is a dentist and not physician doing the procedure.>

Whoa! Just stop to think how many more hours any dentist has spent during his long training and his practice intimately inspecting inside mouths, and often doing procedures where precautions against infection and excess bleeding are involved?? Hard to imagine any pediatrician spending that much time learning about and observing mouths since there are so many more systems requiring some time and attention from a pediatrician.

And far beyond "any dentist", the extra training and expertise that Dr. Kotlow has attained should be enough to earn the respect of any health care provider in any field, no matter what the expertise of that provider him or herself.

I found myself impressed all over again when I found this link on FB, after the recent IATP conference. I hope it shows up as a link on LN. He said on this video that all this is also on his website www.kiddsteeth.com
