How's about you show the physician the fabulous resource from the U. S.
Breatfeeding Committee, entitled "Best Practices Guide for Implementation
of Newborn Exclusive Breast Milk Feeding in Electronic Health Records" (and
intended to be used to implement the Joint Commission mandate for recording
exclusive BFg rates), and highlighting the bits at pp 18 and 22 that
specifically say NOT to chart by "minutes" of feed and rather to use
descriptors of feeding assessment?
