I agree with both Liz and Nikki. Sadly, tho I get very frustrated when I
hear many moms report the same thing to me about the same person/s. I have
talked with a few in the past in as professional a manner as possible, "A
mom said such and so forth and I just couldn't believe that was an accurate
retelling. Can you clarify?" or along those lines. I have received very
good responses and had good conversations with some. The others resulted in
denial, anger, defensive comments which were accompanied by insulting
comments to me, how I had no right to question them and the mom was a liar.
I don't take kindly to such treatment and have since refused to put myself
in that position again with those people. I will talk to those I know I can
talk too to clarify - but there are some I won't even bother. And, there
comes a point, at least for me, that if you hear the same thing about the
same person from many different people on a regular basis it kinda makes you
stop and think that maybe that person has an issue because that many people
can't all be getting it wrong, right?

This can be a challenging situation to be sure.
