I think Jennifer has made a Great point. We have mothers going back to work at 4 weeks,it is rare however it does happen. They are looking for a way to continue breastfeeding and jump through hoops to pump and keep up the supply. We look for ways to help them keep the babies nursing and if this is one way then all of us need to know . If a baby can switch back and forth with out problems then is will be a ehlp for moms. Bravo Jennifer.
Have any of you seen the news about a settlement of a class action lawsuit against Philips Avent and there not disclosing the BPA contents in some of ther products. How many of the moms we know were using those? If we the lactation community had known about the BPA content would we not have been the people to warn the mothers in the begining. All of us now know, some of us knew about BPA befrie the information became public and had warned mothers.
So knowing about these things ,what workd well ,what is a money waster helps us help new moms.
