Dear Lactneters
I run a weekly support group for new parents and last week, one of our
stay at home dads was complaining that his seven month old breast fed
son was waking every hour and a half to nurse. Mom pumps during the day,
but breast feeds the baby at night. My feelings are that this is one
lucky kid! Gets to play and hang out with Dad all day and then nurse all
night. But Dad looked at me a bit wearily and said he hoped the baby
would begin to sleep better at night. Parents co sleep with baby in bed
with them. I suggested perhaps trying him in a crib at their bedside. I
didn't have any other suggestions for them and thought perhaps some of
you out there might!
 Thanks in advance
