very interested in developing a "real" peer counseling program here, but

Your input about the specific challenges facing women of color and poor women
is incredibly important here on LACTNET. All women are treated poorly by the
mainstream medical establishment, but only a few of us have had the
opportunity to work with women of color who point out the subtle and not so
subtle realities of racism and classism.
