PLEASE - write letters to the editor in response to this Globe and Mail story.  Just click on the "letter" link beside the article.  The article is good - we just need to show that we are interested in this story, and that we support Dr. Newman!
 
I also understand that so far 1500 signatures from the petition have been sent to 
George Smitherman, the Minister of Health, along with several 
letters, and he has not responded. We are hoping that if there is 
more media attention that he will have to respond. That's why we're 
hoping to get a letter to the editor published. If a lot of people 
write to the paper, maybe they'll print one.
 
CFRB radio in Toronto is supposed to do a story about him on Friday at noon.
 
Now is the time to turn up the pressure everyone!
