HI All!
Alright Maureen!  I am one of those Brazen Breastfeeders and am proud to be
one!  BF my 21 mo old in public is one of the fun things I like to do, when
he wants it of course!  I have enjoyed the looks from the little old ladies
admiring me for BF my son, and the looks from the younger moms who come over
and say, "Can I sit with you and nurse my baby too?"
I agree that it is time for the Breast-mad North America to get a clue.  They
weren't put there for play, folks!  Mother Nature (or whoever) put the breast
on the human body to feed the human baby.  The sooner people realize that and
get over it, the better.
I agree that people who walk around chewing their gum, like cows chewing
their cud (nice thought, huh?) are more offensive than seeing a mom BF her
baby.  How about the people who scratch their fannys (right in the crack,
sorry to be so gross), or pick their nose?  Now those are gross, and
offensive!  My son saw a man with his finger up his nose the other day, guess
what baby did right after that?  Up the nose went the finger!  Now, quite
frankly, I'd rather have him see a mom BF her baby indiscreetly!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a BF radical.  I am a true zealot.  I
drive my family, and some of my friends nuts with the BF zealotry.  Oh well.
  I am not ashamed to BF my child in public, and if someone is offended, then
I agree with Maureen, they need psychiatric help!
