I was very disappointed in Charlotte's tone of ridicule of evolutionary
theory. None of us can ever *really* know exactly how we all got to where
we are today (unless someone can invent a real time machine!). Both
evolutionary and creationist theories are just that - theories. I
personally don't believe there are 'proven facts of a Creator', but that is
my belief, and is as valid as any other person's. Like differences in
opinion and beliefs in other areas, we need to be tolerant and accepting
that others may have different views and respect them for them, and agree
to differ. Fortunately, this has usually been the case on Lactnet in the
past, and I think is also an important way of thinking for LCs, LLL Leaders
and breastfeeding counsellors who help mothers. I thought Kathy's post was
very interesting, certainly not laughable. I hope she continues to give us
interesting snippets like this.

I couldn't agree more. I think this applies no matter what your beliefs are.
