I'm surprised no one has asked about mag sulfate. I've had women who took
more than a week to establish a milk supply. One was an insulin dependent
diabetic, several were on mag sulfate and several were very edemetous. Supplementing
at the breast might be best, but do what mom wants to do. She is already
stressed enough. We know she needs a better pump but they only hear what they want
to hear and what they can handle. Wish I had some more useful advice....
