This came up recently in a BF class I was teaching. Under the heading of
"I've heard that......" (my standard opener along with "I want to know...")
someone said "I've heard that breastmilk is one of the most contaminated
food sources there is.

I had to think on my feet, and the best I could come up with was (a) the
contaminants don't outweigh the benefits of BF (b) you have an enormous
influence over what contaminants enter your body and thus your breastmilk
and thus (c) you don't have any control over what contaminants the cows are
getting in the field, who make the milk, which is made into formula.

I'd be grateful for any other answers to this one that are quick and easy to
share with a class.
