The guidelines have not been changed to permit promotion of conferences,
even conferences you are not putting on, but only speaking at.  Please
respect this.  A number of our subscribers earn their living holding
conferences and courses.  If all of them were to announce all their events
here, the list would get very cluttered.  LN is not an advertising forum.
It is unfair to all the subscribers who do respect the guidelines and
promote their businesses elsewhere, to use this list for free publicity for
conferences.
The organizations and groups who organize conferences, promote them on their
own websites, as well as in journals.  It's also one more reason to get
connected to any local groups in your area, to find out early on about
conferences near where you live.
