This is (I believe) not prescribed in the Uk now, although it was popular at one
time.  I understand that a study showed an increase in cancer in rats following
use, and I remember at the time a podiatrist friend complaining that she was no
longer allowed to use it.  She had used it, and other dyes,  extensively.
