I don't understand the concern about co-sleeping with the dusky twin.  Seems
to me everyone should be concerned about exactly why the twin turned dusky
while feeding.  Was this a one-time incident, or does she have a heart
defect or some other major problem?  Whether she is in a crib or
co-sleeping, if she has apnea, she's in trouble.  There a good chance that,
if co-sleeping, her mother will touch or talk to her or jostle her and rouse
her from her apneic episode.  But this sounds like it was more than simple
apnea.  I'd recommend a full check-out of potential problems.  The parents
can't be expected to keep a 24/7 watch on her in good light.
