I was invited to participate in a lactation discussion group in the Chicago
area. It pays $125 for about 2 hours. I asked who was sponsoring it and they
said Gerber.
I also asked if my 4 month old could come and they said no (what a surprise).
the woman asked me if I could leave him with a sitter. She kept repeating the
amount of money I would be compensated.

I thought about bringing someone to watch the baby and if he had to nurse
they could hand him to me. She said no.

I have cut down on all lactation business until my son is older.
Sometimes it feels like you are doing the right thing as a parent but that
society just doesn't get it!
