Well Andrew we could say ditto for nurses :-)  We wish they were all like
those of us to whom BF is a passion.  But different things hit different
people in different ways and I'm truly glad that some nurses are so
interested in diabetic teaching or ostomy care, because that's not my cup
of tea.

I just wish all these other people had enough common sense to say that's
not my area of expertise, but I'll find someone who is expert in these
matters - instead of saying stupid things off the top of their heads (like
wean or pump & dump).

 I totally respect specialists in other areas that I don't have the time or
energy to  explore and am grateful they are there to refer to!  I just want
them to respect my knowledge and my area of expertise.  Sincerely, Pat in
