How upsetting. I use the AAP policy statement alot and it is very
influential.
I suggest you find out who was on the AAP policy statement committee (Dr.
Gartner I think), and who approved the CME credit and cc your letter to them
as well. The committe members will probalby be floored and the CME folks may
not be up to date. I am assuming that the individuals docs who presented
were giving theier own recommendations. Don't they read these policy
statements?
Ask did they write a new policy or did you miss something.
