I agree with Lynn, I think this mother should look at the length of her
luteal phase, ideally it should be 14 days long. Perhaps, it is her age vs.
the fact that she is breastfeeding that is impacting her ability to
conceive. I would hesitate to say that if she is ovulating that
breastfeeding has anything to do with her inability to get pregnant. I know
many many mothers who have gotten pregnant while breastfeeding, I personally
have conceived twice while breastfeeding.

If she indeed has a short luteal phase, or other indications based on her
chart that her progesterone is low..I cannot recommend enough having her
take Vitex. It is extremely safe and very effective at balancing
progesterone levels (and estrogen) and extending the luteal phase...and as a
added bonus will increase her milk supply! I have had much success with the
mothers I have suggested this herb to in assisting with conception. Good
