Have been asked to speak at an upcoming Babies R Us Baby Fest Weekend. Have
also been asked to have a table with info on my lactation services and rental
pumps. I just received the fax to sign and return and I had a nagging thought
that maybe this is not an okay thing to do. On one hand they say, "I would
like you to participate by talking to moms about breast feeding (sic) and its'
benefits. I would also like to have some mini seminars a couple of times
thoughout your day." This is good and an opportunity to get bfeeding info to
pregnant and new moms and dads. What is nagging me is that it will be done in an
environment where formula, bottles and endless mother substitutes are being
marketed to the extreme. Your wise opinions and input welcomed to my dilemma as
pen in hand, freezes! Thanks, Ann Conlon-Smith, IBCLC
