I work in palliative care, with terminally ill patients with cancer and
AIDS. When nausea and vomiting are a big problem, we have used domperidone
OR metoclopramide (Reglan, Maxalon), plus cyclizine, plus haloperidol. Each
is used to their maximum dose - domperidone or metoclopramide both have a
max dose of 40 mg per day. When we tried using both domperidone and
metoclopramide together we go side effects related to CNS (confusion,
hallucinations) that were distressing. They seem to be too closely related.

If she really wants to try everything pharmaceutical, I'd rather try drugs
less closely related. Has she tried a "babymoon"?

Subject: Reglan+Domperidone+Human Growth Hormone all at once (TRYING AGAIN)

Hi Everyone--

I have a mom with a very short supply in spite of everything shešs tried.
Shešs called wanting to try the above meds together.

Any experience with this combination for increasing milk supply?

What side effects should we watch for?

Thanks!

Jay
