I would like to know the current standard definition of breastfeeding initiation.
Is there a specified time to be considered? For example: the mother places her
infant to the breast, or the infant was given any of the mother's breastmilk
within the first 48 hours postpartum? If possible I would appreciate a reference
source for the definition. Thank you so much.
