Romulus and Remus are pictured on the NIH's mammary gland biology's website.
I believe the picture is a good clue of the direction the government wants to
go in regard to infant feeding.  The government is invested in gene
technology.  Over the past few years their website has significantly changed but they
have continued to keep that particular picture (although it is not as prominent
as before but you can click on it and it takes you to their home webpage).

I never realized until the other day that the US federal structure is such
that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration), the NIH (National Institute of
Health), and the CDC (Center for Disease Control) are organized under the DHHS
(Department of Health and Human Services). Secretary Tommy Thompson of the DHHS
is  politically appointed and is in charge of all these US governmental health
agencies.  Those institutions have an enormous presence in other countries
around the world, particularly the CDC.   Thus, US politics and health care
policies are mixed into one huge basket under the umbrella of a political
appointee.  Fascinating and frightening...
